Great saw for the Australian bush
Spend a lot of time in the bush tree felling and bucking as well as camping. When camping or when working and small limbs aren't worth firing up the big saw the boreal 21 gets unfolded. Light, strong and simply elegant design. Who said you can't build a better mousetrap. Simply puts other folding bowsaws to shame!
Wonderful Customer Service!
I received the 15inch for christmas, however I really wanted the 21. After chatting with the customer service, they sorted it out a made the exchange super easy! I've already told 4 other friends about it. :) Used it this weekend and was very impressed! Thank you.
L'abbiamo usata per un mese in quanto usiamo molta legna da ardere e ci troviamo molto bene
Best handsaw I’ve ever used
Best handsaw I’ve used. Functional art practically. I look for excuses to carry and use it.
Good saw but still easy to lose parts
This is a decent saw... maybe the best folding bow. The problem is still the clips and pins getting lost when changing blade... hard to do even in the garage, nightmare in the woods. You need another tool (knife at minimum, leatherman is better) to change the blade. It's too bad, because being able to change and carry xtra blades is the big advantage to a bow saw. The aggressive blade is heavily touted, but while it's good, it's sure not 2 or 3 times as good as standard bow saw blades to justify the cost. I like the system but was hoping for improvement... esp on the many parts to lose. The pins could easily be engineered to not fall out the opposite side.
